Sydney Markets?

To my fellow Sydney-Siders,
I made a decision. I want to sell some of my stuff that I've been hoarding. Mainly fashion, accessories - but I also want to sell some books, DVD's.. Basically a garage sale! Only thing is, I only have a handful of 'branded' things and I don't really go to markets a lot. Does anyone know of any markets that kindly accept garage-sale type stalls and where I can 'trash & treasure' these items?

  1. I'm sure that quite afew markets will let you sell (almost) whatever you want. You just have to look into their websites and look through their applications for casual stalls. I've been to the surry hills markets which have a lot of people selling their old fashion and books, as well as Newtown (a lot smaller than S.H markets). You just have to look at the cost of a stall and see if you can make a profit with the things you have.
I'm hoping that helped even just a little bit.

    1. Hi Xiu!
Yeah, a lot of them say they accept garage sales but I want to know if the shoppers like it as well! Don't want to ruin their weekend market experience with my junk! Haha!
Surry Hills - thank you so much for the suggestion!
Thank you so muuuuuch for your comment!

  2. I don't go to markets a lot either, but I think Glebe markets is pretty nice, popular, and people sell all sorts of stuff there! I keep saying I want to go and sell off some of my stuff but I never get around to it.
