Your Tea Teatox

Plenty o' teatoxes are circulating social media today, and all promise extreme results and a 'cleansed' body. The thing is, most teatoxes contain laxatives that yes, flush out the toxins - but also everything else. They completely rid your body of the good, the bad and the ugly leaving you weak, empty and malnourished.

I heard about Your Tea from Instagram and went-forth to research the product and the brand. The Teatox is a herb based formula that works to naturally aid your digestive system in cleansing and nourishing. The teatox comes in a 14 day package, or 28 day package. You drink the tea half an hour before or after three meals a day and it will assist with bloating, and even claims to clear skin and increase energy levels.

Because this is a laxative-free formula, it doesn't guarantee extreme weight loss by solely drinking the tea. The website advises to exercise and eat clean during the process of this teatox. I however, think you should just be eating healthy. I don't know how to eat clean, I don't know how the science behind foods and I wouldn't know how to get all my nutrients by eating clean. The formula I follow is simple - ditch the pizza, McDonald's and chocolate, and replace with greens, fruits and water.

While I've only been using the Teatox for a little while, I can already feel less bloated and feel myself a little more energised throughout the day. It is pricey, but if you're looking for a healthy way to detox, Your Tea is the best I've seen on the market.

  1. I have never heard of anything like this, it is all brand new to me! I'm like you with my approach to food, I don''t like to get caught up with all the crazy rules because I think if you follow simple common sense like balance and not eating McDonald's you really can't go wrong. Thanks for opening my eyes to this, I shall continue looking out for more reviews :) x

  2. I'd heard about the dodgy ones with laxatives, I agree it doesn't sound like the healthiest way to get healthy, haha. I've not really thought about detoxing (or teatoxing?) but I'll keep these in mind!

  3. I need to look that up and maybe buy some because like you said all the cleansing products tend to make you end up feeling weak and tired. Laxatives are terrible to me, but I also want to cleanse my body, thanks for sharing this!

  4. Thanks for the review. I have been searching for an appropriate detox tea because I was scared I would accidentally buy the ones with laxatives!

What flavours are the teas? and also you said it was the market - which ones have you seen that are definitely a no no?

    1. The tea kind of tastes herbally - but not in an offensive way, it's very faint. It doesn't taste fantastic, but it can definitely be overlooked. SkinnyMe tea, anything with sea salt or the lemon detox! Ain't nobody got time to be sitting on the toilet for hours a day!
