Carrot & Kale Chips Recipe
While I don't think anything could replace my love for McDonald's fries, there are some foods that come close. I used to have a dangerous addiction to potato chips, what I loved about it was the crispiness and saltiness and then I realised that I could replicate this in healthier options. This is my recipe for Carrot and Kale chips.
Ingredients:
Carrots
Kale
Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper
Wash and prepare your raw ingredients; wash and peel your carrots, and cut them up into your desired size and shape. Do beware however, if it's too thick it may not cook as well.
Wash your kale and tear into bite size pieces.
Toss in olive oil (1-2 tablespoons) and season with salt & pepper.
Place your ingredients on a tray lined with baking paper.
Bake your vegetables at about 180°C.
My kale chips took about 5 minutes, and the carrot sticks took about 12 minutes. Just watch them and make sure they're not burning!
Voila!
My carrot chips didn't turn out as crispy as I would like unfortunately, I think I cut them too thick! The kale chips, however, were absolutely delicious to me. but I think it does have that 'healthy' taste to it that not everybody can stomach! Nonetheless, if you do try it, I really hope you would let me know what you think of it! Enjoy!

Nshry
Tucked away alongside beautiful Albert Park in Melbourne lies Nshry, a small burger hut that packs a big punch! Burgers are probably one of my favourite types of food, and am I glad I was not left disappointed! The prices can be a little high for just a burger and fries, but it's the entire experience that comes together that left me with positive vibes about this place.
I ordered the chicken burger: two slices of tomato, two chicken fillet, lettuce and their own recipe mayonnaise on a crunchy bun. I don't actually eat fried food, so when they brought it out and I saw the chicken was fried, I was a little wary. That quickly went out the window when I took my first bite and damn. It was heavenly. The fries came with a wasabi mayo, some sort of ranch and ketchup. My salad was cos lettuce, apples, cheese and walnuts with a creamy white sauce. I've also heard the umami burger, soft-shell crab burger and mac'n'cheese burger are equally delightful.

These photos are not edited, I could not use Photoshop to save myself. This is just how beautiful Sydney's sky is!
Please note, I'm still getting used to the works of my SLR camera and I know my photos are not of the upmost quality, but I think Sydney looks beautiful no matter how crappy my photography skills may be. Welcome to Sydney.
